Job Description
The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Shipping group for an Associate to contribute to our well‑established and reputable team.
In this role you will work directly with Partners and clients across a diverse range of interesting and often complex matters. You will take ownership of parts of each matter as well as work with other team members. The position is based in Perth with local, national and global clients. You will be supervised and mentored by experienced lawyers and encouraged to grow and develop your career. We will encourage you to regularly engage in learning and development opportunities and expect that you will be curious and eager to learn.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
If you have up to two years’ experience in legal practice with exposure to shipping matters, and a genuine interest in developing your career in this area, we would love to hear from you. Specifically, we are looking for:
Genuine interest in Maritime law, sector experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Client service mindset
Collaborative approach
Ability to multitask and manage deliverables to deadlines
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
